Sapporo Snow Festival in Hokkaido is one of the most popular festival in Japan during winter season. Every year from the second week of February Sapporo Snow Festival takes place in Odori Park, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is a fantastic place to see beautiful sculptures made from snow ice. Sapporo city is the capital of Hokkaido Prefecture. From Tokyo or other parts of Japan, Sapporo can be visited by Shinkansen or by Airplane. During the ice festival, the temperature stay below -10C ~ -17C around that time in Sapporo, Hokkaido. So please prepare accordingly before visiting the place.
